About the Role
We are opening the mailbox for dedicated and hands-on Entry-Level Structural Fabrication Shop Helper to support our fabrication team. This is not just a job—it's a career path. As a Shop Helper, you will be immersed in a high-performance environment where you'll gain real-world experience, learn fabrication and welding techniques, and progress toward becoming a Welder.
This position is designed for individuals with a growth mindset, a strong work ethic, and the desire to build a trade skill set. For those who excel, Greenberry provides a structured path to advance into a Welder role by completing a company-administered weld test.

What You’ll Do
• Support skilled fabricators and welders in day-to-day operations.
• Learn to fabricate and weld steel using industry-standard tools and practices.
• Operate and become certified on forklifts, man lifts, bridge cranes, ironworkers, and band saws.
• Safely use 5” to 9” grinders and other hand tools to prepare and finish materials.
• Follow OSHA and WISHA safety practices, contributing to a safety-first culture.
• Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and readiness for production.________________________________________
Career Progression & Training Path
• On-the-Job Training: Gain real experience under the guidance of seasoned professionals.
• Skill Development: Learn steel fabrication, tool operation, safety procedures, and welding fundamentals.
• Mentorship: Receive direct mentorship and feedback from experienced welders and supervisors.
• Certification Opportunity: Upon demonstrating readiness, take and pass a weld test to earn promotion to a Welder position.
